Pros: Dry to very dry
I purchased it because of the great review but I was not thrilled. It is not oily like any conventional sun cream but it is still a bit oily for me although it worked out with makeup.
Generally it is an okay product and I won't purchase it again because of the price vs. effect.

Can't live without this cream

My mother and I have been using this face cream and other Darphin products for the past 8 years. We both love it and will continue to use it. As mentioned in the other reviews, this product smells divine. It doesn't have the faintest trace of a typical SPF smell. It blends smoothly into my skin, and I apply it immediately prior to putting on my liquid foundation to ensure a flawless, smooth blend. Having oily skin and living in Louisiana heat, I have been trepidatious in the past about using a moisturizer, but this product restores proper hydration balance to my skin and makes it glow. I highly recommend it and encourage others to try it out too.

Excellent SPF moisturizer

I just purchased Soleil Plaisir last week and it was a perfect addition for summer. I think it so hard to find a SPF moisturizer that doesn't have that yucky SPF smell. This moisturizer smells wonderful (like all of the Daphin products) and doesn't feel greasy or heavy on the skin. A little seems to go a long way with this product so I imagine the generously sized bottle will last through much, if not all, of the summer months.

I simply love this face cream. My sister and I purchased this product last year at Neiman Marcus and fell in love with it -- nothing else on the market compares to this face cream -- it will leave your skin soft and with glow and you will notice a difference the very first time you use it.

What a wonderful smell for sunscreen

My skin is dry especially in the winter time and plus I am using Retin-A and it makes my skin even drier. I bought this sunscreen because I just want to try it out. I LOVE the smell of this sunscreen. The texture of this sunscreen is great it's creamy but not too oily like other sunscreen but still give you a really nice moisture to your skin. I would like to see Darphin come out with more stable sunscreen. I asked the expert on MakeupAlley about how stable of this sunscreen they said it's not stable and for the UVA protection I calculate from the ingredients it's about PA++ by Japanese standard. But I don't care I just love the smell so much and most of the time I sit in the office anyway. But if you are going to the beach I would not recommend it.

I have never gotten more compliments on my skin as when I finally tried using this product. It smells great, gives me all the sun protection I need on a daily basis, and gives my skin such a healthy glow.
There is no better sunscreen out there!
