I love Darphin and I've been using a lot of their creams for the past 2 years now, with great results but Darphin has yet to come up with a good moisturizer! This is not it!
I am 40 and have great skin due to a very good skin regimen and good moisturizers, but this one was a disappointment. It smells horrible, grassy. It doesn't last long, you need to re-apply after half an hour and ... I do not have a good thing to say about it.

Too "light"?

For older skin, this product may not be moisturizing enough, but I find it works well beneath a heavier cream or oil. My 22 year old daughter finds it just perfect though!

My Favorite Moisturizer

I received a sample of this recently and after two uses noticed an unbelievable improvement in my skin. My skin has a beautiful, bright glow and is soft and perfectly moisturized. I immediately went out and bought this item after the second day and numerous compliments! The smell is amazing and the texture is perfect. It absorbs quickly and isn't sticky or thick. I really notice how amazing this product is under my makeup. I have been pairing it with the hydrating serum. I haven't had to use nearly as much foundation to get excellent coverage since I began using this gel moisturizer + serum. My makeup looks smooth and even. People I work with keep asking if I've switched to airbrush makeup. I often feel a little buyers remorse after purchasing expensive skin care products, but not this time! I am so, so pleased with this and will continue to purchase and recommend.

The hydrating cream is light and smooth. It also hydrates without leaving an oily feeling. I notice a difference within just a few days of picking back up where I left off with it, if I have been away from it for a while because I ran out.

This product is absolutely everything Darphin says it is. I have combination skin and it pleases the oily and the dry. Smells wonderful - but I think some people might be put off by how strong the scent is. It fades quickly though. My skin is hydrated, soft and balanced in the morning after using it at night.

I have been wanting to try this product for quite some time. I have very oily skin and live in a very hot and humid climate. I almost have to go bare-faced to withstand our summers. The gel cream is very refreshing after a long, hot day. It feels great and has a wonderful aroma. However, its best for me as a night cream. Even thought its a gel, it's still a little rich and luxurious for a day, under makeup primer.

THE BEST Moisturizer – Highly Recommend!

If you could only have one Darphin product then this is it! The Hydraskin Light Gel Cream is great for every skin type (I've shared it with my friends) and everyone agrees this product is amazing! Light, airy, absorbs completely, no residue or shiny-ness after applying. Skin stays moisturized the whole day. Gel creams rock and so does this fabulous moisturizer! Try it and see for yourself!

Great Light Moisture- Especially at night

I think this is a great moisturizer because it is lightweight but works well and feels great on your skin when applying. For me, I prefer it at night because my skin can be oilier in the spring/summer and I will use a super lightweight moisturizer or serum. My skin feels soft and just looks better when I wake up in the morning. I don't like any heavy creams so this is highly recommended for something looking for a light cream. You also don't feel like your pores are getting clogged.

This is a nice lightweight moisturizer ideal for all skin types. Doesnt feel heavy on your skin, goes in nicely and smoothly. Very effective on making your skin soft and supple. Recommended!

While is says normal to combination, I have sensitive and slightly dry skin and this still works great. I've been using it for a few years now and I think it has the best consistency and absorbency for spring/summer weather. My skin feels soft and plump after using it.

This cream/gel consistency is fantastic. My combination skin feels gloriously soft and looks incredibly hydrated with this moisturizer.
